Dr. Payton Smith received a Bachelor’s in Animal Science with a minor in Health, Medicine, and Human Values from North Carolina State University, before continuing on in their College of Veterinary Medicine and obtaining her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Smith’s special interests include large animal welfare, equine medicine, herd health general care, and anything else involving a farm animal! You can often find Dr. Smith on the road with her truck companion, Daisy.
In her free time, Dr. Smith enjoys reading and doing anything outdoors, including hiking, camping, and traveling, and has recently joined a local adult sports team!
