NEW CLIENT INFORMATION

As a client, it is important that you understand how to best use our facility and know that our knowledgeable, caring staff will do their utmost at all times to ensure you and your pet have a positive experience when visiting our clinic. Click for the registration form here.

If you are a new client or a familiar face here at QVC, we want you to know that we put you and your pet's needs first. First time visitors here often remark on how large a practice this is, how many doctors, nurses and support personnel work here, and our long term clients exclaim how much we have grown over the years. This said, we believe that our growth is due to our excellent client relationships, our wide variety of services for large animal and farm animals, companion animals and exotics, from emergency surgery to doggy day care, and everything in between (please navigate our web pages in full to view all services provided).

Hours of Operation

The staff at Quakertown Vet Clinic are available to you 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. We are fully staffed during regular hours, 8:00am - 9:00pm Mon thru Fri, and on Sat mornings (appointments only) 8:00am - 11:30am, for routine appointments, emergencies, surgeries, preventative health care and medical visits .

The clinic remains open through the night and weekends for emergency visits and care, for our regular clients and also for the clients of other clinics should their regular vet be unavailable. Our emergency hours are staffed by a smaller 'skeleton' staff, solely here to deal with emergency services only.

Visiting Hours
8:00am - 10:00am
8:00pm - 10:00pm

Please try to adhere to these visiting hours as much as possible if your pet is staying with us in the hospital. These hours are set so as to be able to provide all the animals in our hospital with optimal care.

Choice of Doctor

Whether you have been a long time client, or are relatively new with us, please feel free to ask for the same Doctor that has been dealing with your pet for follow up visits. Our receptionists will gladly accommodate your needs and preferences.

Contacting Our Doctors

Our doctors generally make call backs to clients during the lunch and dinner hours (12noon - 1:00pm and 5:00pm -6:00pm) and then again after appointments are done in the evening; however, if you need a more immediate response to a question or concern, you can utilize our customer service representative to help you with your needs, or you can leave a message in the doctor's voicemail or with our operator.

When conversing with staff, please feel comfortable asking for their name so that you have a contact person should you need further assistance.

Our Pharmacy / Prescription Refills

Our clinic provides our clients with a full service pharmacy for all of your pet's prescription needs. Please call in your prescription refills during our regular business hours, allowing a 2-hour wait time. (Prescriptions called in during emergency hours, may not be filled until business resumes as usual the next day, as our overnight and emergency staff need to be available for the priority of animal care and treatment. However, emergency prescription refills such as insulin and heart medications, will be filled during emergency hours, as we understand the life-threatening complications that could result to your pet should he be deprived of certain drugs and medications).

Our Store

Our store has many items for your pet, from special foods for unique dietary needs, to chew toys and shampoos. Please feel free to browse while you wait, or stop by at any time during our extensive regular business hours for that special treat for Fido or Kitty.

We welcome your comments and thank you for the trust you place in us to do the very best for you and your pet. Take a look around our website, get to know our staff and our facility or simply stop by and see us in person, we would be glad to show you around!
